Biography
Mankombu Sambasivan Swaminathan (born 7 August 1925) is an Indian geneticist and international administrator, renowned for his leading role in India's "Green Revolution," a program under which high-yield varieties of wheat and rice seedlings were planted in the fields of poor farmers. Swaminathan is known as "Indian Father of Green Revolution" for his leadership and success in introducing and further developing high-yielding varieties of wheat in India. He is the founder and chairman of the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation. His stated vision is to rid the world of hunger and poverty. Swaminathan is an advocate of moving India to sustainable development, especially using environmentally sustainable agriculture, sustainable food security and the preservation of biodiversity, which he calls an "evergreen revolution." From 1972 to 1979 he was director general of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. He was Principal Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture from 1979 to 1980. He served as Director General of the International Rice Research Institute (1982–88) and became president of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources in 1988. In 1999, Time magazine placed him in the 'Time 20' list of most influential Asian people of the 20th century.

Prof. Sinerik Ayrapetyan has completed his Ph.D in Cell Biophysics in the Institute of Physiology of Ukraine Academy of Sciences, Kiev. He is the head and coordinator of Research Council of Life Sciences International Postgraduate Educational Center and UNESCO Chair in Life Sciences in Yerevan, Armenia. His current research interest is “Intracellular Signalling System in Norm and Pathologyâ€. On this subject he has published more than 7 international books and 115 papers in refereed journals. He is serving as a member of the board of associate editors for the journals: "Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine" "Journal of International Dental and Medical Research", “ISRN Biophysics†and member of editorial board of the journals: “Advances in Life Sciences", “Bioavailability and Bioequivalenceâ€, “Applied Pharmacyâ€, “European Journal of Biophysicsâ€, “Biochimica et Biophysica Actaâ€. He is a member of International Coordination Council of WHO and number of professional international societies

Biography
Dr. Weiguo Dai is currently a Scientific Director in Drug Product Development at Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceuticals. He is also one of 62 individuals elected Inaugural JANSSEN FELLOWs, the highly prestigious scientific honor awarded to internationally recognized top scientists within Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceutical R&D for their significant scientific contributions and organizational impacts. Dai is also the recipient of several highly prestigious awards including Johnson and Johnson 2011 Philip B. Hofmann Research Scientist Award in recognition of his “Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Research and Developmentâ€. Dr. Dai’s research and innovation have focused on developing patient-centric drug products and improving drug efficacy, safety and patient compliance through design and development of novel formulations, and proprietary delivery technologies and processes. His technology innovations have directly led to the launch of commercial drug products in the market, and established the development projects. Dr. Dai has authored 46 peer-reviewed journal articles, and has been a frequently invited speaker and chair for numerous international conferences and workshops. Also Dr. Dai currently serves as Vice Chair of Physical Pharmacy and Biopharmaceutics (PPB) section in AAPS. Additionally, he is the current President of Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SAPA)-Greater Philadelphia. SAPA is a nonprofit and pharmaceutical professional organization with over 4,000 members. Dr. Dai earned his PhD degree from The Johns Hopkins University in 1996, and has over 17 years of industrial work experience in biotech/pharmaceutical companies, including Guilford (now Eisai), Amgen, and Johnson and Johnson.
