After having served as head of pharmacological research laboratories of a phyto-pharmaceutical manufacturer (Dr. Willmar Schwabe GmbH & Co. KG, Karlsruhe, Germany) in 2005, Dr. Chatterjee has been collaborating with several academic and industrial research groups in India, and elsewhere, or mentoring and supervising graduate and post graduate students undergoing training in medicinal phytochemistry and studying Ayurvedic medicine in Benaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Being trained as a medicinal chemist, his major research interests since 1972 has been to identify, standardize, and validate bioassays and biomarkers potentially useful for biomedical translation research based on more holistic biomedical principles. Ultimate goal of his research efforts is to translate available preclinical and clinical information on traditionally known medicinal and food plant in terms of modern life sciences, or for obtaining novel therapeutic leads from them.

Prof. Mohamed Fawzy Ramadan Hassanien is a Professor of Biochemistry at Zagazig University (Egypt). Currently he is a Professor at Umm Al-Qura University (KSA). Prof. Hassanien obtained his PhD (2004) in Food Chemistry from Berlin University of Technology (Germany). Prof. Hassanien continued his research in ranked universities in different countries such Finland and USA. In 2012, he appointed as a visiting Professor in School of Biomedicine, Far Eastern Federal University (Vladivostok, Russia). Prof. Hassanien published more than 180 articles and reviews in international journals with high IF as well as several books (Scopus h-index is 32).

Levi Ezequiel de Oliveira holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (2004), with the graduation work in bioinformatics, finding genes related to Apoptosis in Plant Cells (model: Triticum aestivum). Master's degree in Sciences by University of São Paulo (2010). Trainee in the Genome Laboratory of the University of Vale do Paraíba (2004-2005), working with the construction of recombinant vectors containing mitochondrial protein genes obtained from sugarcane to verify in heterologous expression. Doctoral in Sciences at the Biotechnology Program by University of São Paulo (2014), working with various extractive methods of lipid biomolecules for first, second and third generation biodiesel synthesis and lipid raw material characterization by several methods including thermal analysis. In 2017, started the specialization course in Bioinformatics by University of California San Diego. In 2018, started to work for Abepoli Institute, aiming to recover the flora biodiversity preserving native stingless bee.

Dr. Gláucio Diré Feliciano holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ/ Brazil), a master's degree in Human and Experimental Biology (Morphological Sciences) from the University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ/ Brazil) and a PhD in Biology (area of concentration in Nuclear Biosciences) by the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ/ Brazil). He concluded his postdoctoral fellowship in Experimental Pathology at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ/Brazil). He is currently a research professor in the area of Neuropharmacology and Neurochemistry at the Foundation University State University of the West Zone (UEZO/ Rio de Janeiro/ Brazil), where he is responsible for the research line entitled "Study of the biological effects of natural products with investigative interest in Brazil's unique health system. ", which is developed in the Laboratory of Chemical and Biological Analysis-LAQB (UEZO/ Rio de Janeiro/ Brazil). He is also a Full Professor III at Estácio de Sá University (UNESA/ Rio de Janeiro/ Brazil). He is a Fellow of the American Association for Science and Technology.

Associate Professor Dr Azidah Abdul Kadir, a medical Consultant, researcher and Novelist, is a former head of department, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia and a member of the Conjoint Board of Family Medicine Malaysia. She is currently working as Family Physician Consultant and researcher in Universiti Sains Malaysia. She has many international publications in medical field which includes natural products, diabetes, osteoarthritis and geriatric. She has received recognition for her work through various awards at the national and international level. She also has been appointed as reviewer and editorial board for the international/local journals. She has a deep interest in complementary/alternative medicine and believes that natural product has a huge potential in contributing the development of bioeconomy industries.
