Biography
Associate Professor Dr Azidah Abdul Kadir, a medical Consultant, researcher and Novelist, is a former head of department, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia and a member of the Conjoint Board of Family Medicine Malaysia. She is currently working as Family Physician Consultant and researcher in Universiti Sains Malaysia. She has many international publications in medical field which includes natural products, diabetes, osteoarthritis and geriatric. She has received recognition for her work through various awards at the national and international level. She also has been appointed as reviewer and editorial board for the international/local journals. She has a deep interest in complementary/alternative medicine and believes that natural product has a huge potential in contributing the development of bioeconomy industries.
