Mankombu Sambasivan Swaminathan (born 7 August 1925) is an Indian geneticist and international administrator, renowned for his leading role in India's "Green Revolution," a program under which high-yield varieties of wheat and rice seedlings were planted in the fields of poor farmers. Swaminathan is known as "Indian Father of Green Revolution" for his leadership and success in introducing and further developing high-yielding varieties of wheat in India. He is the founder and chairman of the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation. His stated vision is to rid the world of hunger and poverty. Swaminathan is an advocate of moving India to sustainable development, especially using environmentally sustainable agriculture, sustainable food security and the preservation of biodiversity, which he calls an "evergreen revolution." From 1972 to 1979 he was director general of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. He was Principal Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture from 1979 to 1980. He served as Director General of the International Rice Research Institute (1982–88) and became president of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources in 1988. In 1999, Time magazine placed him in the 'Time 20' list of most influential Asian people of the 20th century.

Prof. Sinerik Ayrapetyan has completed his Ph.D in Cell Biophysics in the Institute of Physiology of Ukraine Academy of Sciences, Kiev. Dr. Weiguo Dai is currently a Scientific Director in Drug Product Development at Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceuticals. He is also one of 62 individuals elected Inaugural JANSSEN FELLOWs, the highly prestigious scientific honor awarded to internationally recognized top scientists within Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceutical R&D for their significant scientific contributions and organizational impacts. Dai is also the recipient of several highly prestigious awards including Johnson and Johnson 2011 Philip B. Hofmann Research Scientist Award in recognition of his “Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Research and Development”. Dr. Dai’s research and innovation have focused on developing patient-centric drug products and improving drug efficacy, safety and patient compliance through design and development of novel formulations, and proprietary delivery technologies and processes. His technology innovations have directly led to the launch of commercial drug products in the market, and established the development projects. Dr. Dai has authored 46 peer-reviewed journal articles, and has been a frequently invited speaker and chair for numerous international conferences and workshops. Also Dr. Dai currently serves as Vice Chair of Physical Pharmacy and Biopharmaceutics (PPB) section in AAPS. Additionally, he is the current President of Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SAPA)-Greater Philadelphia. SAPA is a nonprofit and pharmaceutical professional organization with over 4,000 members. Dr. Dai earned his PhD degree from The Johns Hopkins University in 1996, and has over 17 years of industrial work experience in biotech/pharmaceutical companies, including Guilford (now Eisai), Amgen, and Johnson and Johnson.

Dr. Jimmy Efird holds a joint appointment as Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health and as Epidemiologist/Chief Statistician in the Center for Health Disparities, Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University (ECU). He also serves as Director of Epidemiology and Outcomes Research for the ECU Heart Institute and is an Adjunct Associate Profession in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences. Kazim Sahin, nutritionist, graduated from School of Veterinary Medicine, Ankara University in 1990. He is working for Firat University. His research focuses mainly on vitamin and mineral metabolism, cancer prevention, stress and obesity. He has been very active internationally with collaborative research projects and international conferences conducted with scientists in USA, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Poland. He organized the First International Congress on Nutrition and Cancer in Antalya, Turkey in May 2008. He was also the first to report that dietary lycopene intake prevents leiomyoma and renal cancer in the Eker rats and Japanese quail in collaboration with medical researchers at Emory University, Atlanta and Wayne State University, Detroit, USA. Massimo Cecaro was born in Macerata, Italy, in 1980. After completing the high school in humanistic studies, he moved to the University of Camerino, where he got a Master Degree in Veterinary Medicine and in University of Teramo he successfully got the Specialization. Since the age of 14, he has worked as radio speaker, tv presenter and reporter for a wide range of artistic and scientific events. At the age of 24 he obtained a qualification to practice as a Journalist and in 2007 he was admitted to the National Association of Medical Press (ASMI), where he currently hold the position of National Councilor. He is Resident Member of MJA Medical Journalists\\ Association (London). He has been lecturer of Communication in Medical Sciences in many Universities. He is also director of a prestigious Educational Centre for work safety and public health.
